Our values
Honest
We do not upsell. You get an honest answer on what needs doing and what it will cost, and if a job is not ours to take, we say so.
Communication
You know what is happening and when it is happening, and if anything changes you are the first to know.
Reliability
We are certified for everything we take on, and we do what we said we would do. When you call, we come out as soon as we can.
Quality
We pride ourselves on completing all work to the highest standard, including the things you never see.
Frequently asked questions
How long have you been plumbing?
Steve has over 25 years in the trade, most of it on Wellington and Hutt Valley houses, and holds the certification for both plumbing and gasfitting. That covers everything from a leaking tap through to a full hot water conversion.
Who will do the work?
Steve does the work. On bigger jobs we bring in a second plumber to help. You are not handed to a different crew after the quote, and the person who quoted it is on site doing it.
What hours do you work?
Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 5:30. We do not do after-hours callouts, so if you ring outside those hours we will get back to you the next working day.
Do you do drainlaying or blocked drains?
No. Steve holds the plumbing and gasfitting tickets, and drainlaying is a separately certified trade in New Zealand. We will happily point you at a drainlayer, and if the problem turns out to be on the plumbing side we can take care of that part.
Do you work for property managers and commercial properties?
Yes. We provide plumbing maintenance and repair services to commercial properties and property managers as well as to homeowners. Ring us with what you look after and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
Need a plumber or gasfitter?
Tell us what needs doing and we will come back with a straight answer and a price.
Most of what we do is hot water: hot water cylinder repairs in Wellington and gas hot water in Wellington. Gas fires and appliances sit with certified gasfitting in Wellington.
